Our Care Team
Thelma Orbon
Thelma Orbon, the Lead PSW & CEO of Thelma’s Healthcare, has been working as a PSW within Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area for over fifteen years. She graduated from Enverga University, the number one university in the province of Quezon, Philippines. After immigrating to Canada in 2004, she pivoted her career to the service industry attending and eventually graduating from the Global Care Academy for PSW. She did this all while working part-time and raising her two daughters. A pillar of strength, she leads the Thelma’s Healthcare team with a steadfastness and compassionate approach.
After many years as both an agency-based and as a sole proprietary PSW, she noticed a gap in the industry - many seniors lacked comprehensive care. More often than not, seniors in facilities experienced a little to no personalized care-plans that ensured their utmost comfort and quality of life. She founded Thelma’s Healthcare with the mission to fill that gap and deliver fully customizable care plans to seniors with unique needs. Throughout her career as founder & lead PSW at Thelma’s Healthcare, she has always placed a strong emphasis on the emotional well-being of all her clients. She quickly adapts to their changing needs and serves as a support system to not only her clients, but her staff as well. She strongly believes that a carefully-tailored care plan can ensure longevity and quality of life for all our clients. She is committed to providing compassionate, nurturing, and genuine care.
